Helps support a healthy immune system. Lends a soothing feeling to the throat at the onset of flu.
For over 5,000 years, Ginger (Zingiber officinale) has been revered as the “universal medicine” in China and India and has been popularly used for treating indigestion, diarrhea, nausea, fever, and body aches.
In the Philippines, ginger is popularly consumed as a hot beverage called “salabat” as a relief for colds, fever, and sore throat. In making salabat, ginger extract is slowly cooked with sugar until the syrup mixture crystallizes and dries up. A tasty and refreshing beverage, much of ginger’s medicinal properties is lost in this process. The resulting product is also loaded with caloreis for sugar and is therefore not suited for diabetics and pre-diabetics.
Daily Apple’s Salabat Ginder Tea is a truly healthy ginger beverage that conveniently provides the health benefit of traditional salabat tea in a tea bag, minus the calories. Salabat Ginger Tea uses organic native ginger harvested from the slopes of Mount Kanlaon, an active volcano in Negros Island, and is sweetened using only the dried leaves of Stevia rebaudiana which contains no sugar and has no glycemic value.
Drink Daily Apple’s Salabat Ginger Tea as a general health drink, as an aftermeal tea to improve digestion, as a relief to nausea and digestive disorders, or when you feel like catching cold.
